My name is Rebecca Thompson and I’m the owner of PAW-MART Pets. We are located in the southern part of Missouri; about 120-160 miles east of Springfield and Branson, MO. My husband and I have a small farm here in the Ozarks and animals have always held a special place in my heart. In the recent years, my attention has been drawn to household pets. With my children all about grown, it is wonderful having something to devote my attention to. A lot of hard work goes into raising these bundles of fur, but it is rewarding. It just warms my heart to hear someone say, “how I’ve made their day” or, “I’ve just fallen in love with my pet”.
Our facility is semi-small, heated and cooled, and we’re always looking for ways to improve. I spend much of my time caring and interacting with my dogs. They are given the opportunity to have unrestricted access to the outdoors; using their own doggy door. Each dog has its own sleeper and dinner plate too. All of my dogs are perodically bathed and wormed.
